Bike Trail Tirol Stage 31: St. Anton - Steeg

This 35-kilometer long route travels always on asphalt trails, featuring some 750 meters of altitude gain. Right at the beginning you have to conquer the steepest part, leading up to Arlberg Pass. Beautiful insights and breathtaking views accompany you all day long.

  • To complete the giant loop of the Bike Trail Tirol you pedal from St. Anton via St. Christoph towards the 1804-meter high Arlberg Pass and further on to Flexen Pass - then via Lech and Warth down to Lechtal Valley and the village of Steeg.
  • Some parts of the stage lead through avalanche guard tunnels, therefore you need appropriate lights.
  • There is no alternative gravel route or single trail for bikers: only the asphalt road is available on this stage!
  • From lovely Steeg you can take the Lechtal Cycleway to Reutte or Tannheim.
