Breierhof: Luxury or solitude?

A luxurious pinewood suite fitted with all mod cons? Or a spartan wooden hut with no electricity and far from civilization? Whatever your preferred accommodation, Barbara Fankhauser has the perfect solution at her Breierhof.

Days here start with guests waking up to find fresh dairy products from ‘hay milk’ – the name given to milk given by cows fed only 100% natural hay – on their doorstep. Perfect for a good night’s sleep! For those who prefer the simple life on holiday, the Barbara Fankhauser has her own wooden hut at 1,800 metres above sea level, around half an hour from the Breierhof. Here there is no television, no radio, no electricity – just a roaring log fire and absolute peace and quiet.
