All compartments of the Zillertalbahn narrow gauge train are adapted to the needs of disabled persons (mobility, visually or hearing impaired); the entries all feature fold-out ramps for easy access.
The Zillertalbahn tracks are 32 kilometers long. The narrow gauge train leads from Jenbach across numerous bridges past the famous holiday resorts to Mayrhofen in the Zillertal. The maximum speed of 35 km/h gives you plenty of time to enjoy the scenic landscape or indulge in a relaxed chat with your neighbor. In the winter this nostalgic train runs every Wednesday from 10 January through 14 March 2007.

This is Austria’s first train that where all compartments are by design fully suitable for wheelchair travelers.
The train personnel assist you in boarding, disembarking and moving about the train. In the passenger area four places are reserved for wheelchair travelers. The places are equipped with call buttons to request help from the staff.
