Old fashioned museums are definitely a thing of the past! Little visitors enjoy traveling back in time by following the hidden secrets of history and art. Innsbruck's KIM Association (Children in the Museum) came up with a varied program and workshops for the young visitors. Activities include painting, drawing, doing crafts, theater for kids and many more highlights.

Children in the Town Museum: "Magic Potion & Herbs"
The KIM program in 2008 revolves around "Food", comprising "Royal Jelly" in the Archaeological Museum of Innsbruck's University, the monastery's kitchen secrets of Stift Wilten, the "KIM Dinner" on 5 and 6 August in the Imperial Palace and the "Magic Potion & Herbs" closing event held in the Town Museum (Archives) on 15 November. Special programs focus on children and their grandparents: "Tour of Innsbruck" (25 April and 09 May), "On the Emperor's Tracks" (06 and 13 June), "All about Facades?" (17 and 24 October), "Advent Season" (12 and 19 December) – Fun and entertainment guaranteed!
