All kids need a change of scenery now and then – even more so when they are bound to a wheelchair. Going on holidays gives them, their parents and carers the opportunity to relax and recharge their batteries.
Silence-Sporthotel Zugspitze has been welcoming disabled guests for many years. Landlady Mrs. Scheiderbauer smiles when she thinks of her little wheelchair guests: “Everything is possible here! We offer an accessible playroom, ping pong tables, pool billiards and our even garden is suitable for wheelchair users! Kids are welcome on all outings, whether we take the gondola to Zugspitze or go boating on Lake Heiterwanger." Children love the flat trails through the moor and past ponds and huts to Ehrwald.

The hotel staff caters to special needs and wishes of wheelchair guests, and special diets are readily available upon request. Apartments were adapted to suit the needs of mobility impaired guests. Two new electric wheelchairs will be available for rent this summer.
