Great events cast big shadows: to give you a taste of
Tirol’s first Bike Park which will open this summer, the pros of Trailsolutions organize a
spectacular mountain bike race, the “White Slide”.
In this night event, contestants will hurl themselves down the
specially prepared and illuminated toboggan track on Bergeralm in Steinach in Wipptal. At full speed, of course. “We estimate that participants will reach speeds up to 80km/h”, says Georg Grogger of the organization team.
“Having said this, the race is not about setting up new records. It’s about taking up the challenge and
having fun, whether you are a rider or a spectator.”

The race starts at Panorama Restaurant at 1600 meters above sea level and follows the toboggan track which
drops 550 meters in five kilometers and boasts several tight curves. The track finishes at the Hennensteige pub.
The winner of the race can take up another
challenge: he or she can take on the
best Wipptal tobogganers to prove that bikers are faster than tobogganers!
Participants can look forward to
