Running on a regular basis improves health and can slow the effects of ageing. The motto of “laufwerkstatt” is “slow and with more focus”. For this reason they banned stop watches from all their programs and shifted their focus from performance improvement to fitness, fun and health. laufwerkstatt holds regular “wellness running seminars” for novice and advanced runners in small groups of no more than 5. Their program includes, among other things, nature runs, relaxation, healthy nutrition and Nordic walking. But laufwerkstatt also caters to fit runners with marathon experience: their “adventure run” has the goal to run across a part of Tirol as a group.
Slow activities for your body combined with healthy exercises have many positive effects on your health. Therefore the "laufwerkstatt" Runners' Association does not use a stopwatch to measure your time. Regularly held running workshops for both beginners and advanced are on the varied program. The single units focus on new fitness and health trends, including "Wellness Running Seminars" for all levels with certified trainers. They take small groups (5 persons) to the region's most beautiful spots amid unspoilt nature. The varied program is complemented by useful advice on healthy nutrition, relaxation techniques and nordic walking. Experts specialized in marathons can choose the "Adventurous Running Trails", a challenging route across Tirol. More detailed information at www.laufwerkstatt.at - Details (german) Homepage
