Tirolean Seal of Quality for Cross-Country Skiing Tracks
For two decades now the Tirolean Government has been awarding especially well-groomed and maintained cross-country skiing tracks with the Tirolean Seal of Quality.
The Nordic ski areas have to have a certain number of cross-country skiing trails with a good standard of grooming, signposting, safety etc.

There has to be a minimum of three double-tracked cross-country skiing trails, and the trails all have to cover different routes. The Seal of Quality is only awarded to areas with an average of 80 snow days per year (that is days with a snow cover of approx. 10cm).

The start area has to have certain facilities for the skiers and there have to be parking facilities nearby.
