The Leutasch Ski School near Seefeld has installed the first Nordic practicing course for kids: plenty of colors, intelligent games plus loads of fun!
Ski school director Christoph Schwarz and his expert team created the first Kids' Nordic Skiing Park in Leutasch.
Christoph Schwarz, managing director of a Tirolean Ski School, explains enthusiastically the concept of his Nordic skiing park for kids: "For young kids (4 years old) we have a quite easy course boasting big figures and animals. The older kids can try a more challenging obstacle course including downhill sections, inclined slopes and a little jump." The whole practicing course designed by real snow sport experts focuses on the internationally renowned Austrian ski school training methods in different terrain. Children should have fun and learn sports in a playful way, while exploring nature landscapes of awesome beauty. Cross-country skiing is great fun for kids! Especially the surroundings of Leutasch offer everything your heart could possibly desire – on and off the beaten tracks mid forests and fields.
Easy to learn, healthy and funny: classic-style cross-country skiing and skating. The practicing track is free of charge. For all other tracks in Seefeld adults need a ticket
The idea was brilliant! Last winter the ski school team started with a small practicing area. This winter season there is already a huge Nordic skiing park. During Christmas season 2 skating and 2 classic-style courses took place. That's really sensational!
