Popular biathlon for everyone in Pillerseetal

All those in search of challenging sport competitions and events are strongly recommended to watch out for the thrilling highlights and attractions organized for amateur sports and everyone else. And what's best, in close touch with the international sports elite!

"Join the race!" For example at the Lienz Dolomitenlauf (19. - 22.01) incl. sprint, classic race, romantic and bambini competition, the Ski Trail in Tannheimer Tal (25. – 29.01.), the Koasalauf in St. Johann in Tirol (11. – 12.02.) or the Achensee 3 Valley Race on 04.03 – action and fun for cross-country skiing fans guaranteed! Biathletes get together at the Hochfilzen Popular Biathlon (16. - 17.03.) at the heart of scenic Pillersee Tal.

Speed fanatics meet in renowned St. Anton am Arlberg on the occasion of the Red Bull Hut Rally taking place on 27 and 28 January: a thrilling race through Tirolean huts and hay barns. Another highlight is the yearly held White Rush for real powder snow and mogul experts fighting for their chance at glory on the downhill course with 1,350m altitude change from the Valluga top station down to the valley.

Fun sports without skis
Great fun for young and old also off the ski slopes. There are plenty of other winter activities which do not need any experience. the Tirolean wnter sport resorts came up with a varied calendar of events!

The professional team of Top Skischule in Ellmau offers daily snow tubing action along the slope. In Seefeld you can try this fun-filled activity as well (daily on prior arrangement) on the floodlit Brandlift ski slope.

In lovely Sillian in Osttirol you experience the ultimate Snow Happening with loads of fun sport devices every Wednesday. The Hall holiday region organizes the splendid Klumperspaß on the Tulfes practicing slope every Thursday at 8.00 pm. For a small entry fee you can even participate in the slalom race!

Totally crazy and a kind of cult event: the incredible Wok Race on the Olympic bob run in Igls! Similar to Stefan Raab and his super stars, all daredevils can try this adventurous 1,270-meter ride themselves in Raab's original 4-person wok. When? 22./29.01., 04./11./19.02, 03./10. & 11.03.
