The E4 European Long Distance Path or E4 Path is one of the finest ways to discover Europe … and get away from it all. Starting in Cape St. Vincent in Portugal at Europe's westernmost point, the route runs through many European countries and ends on the Island of Cyprus in the Southeast of Europe. The Alpine variant of the E4 is considered the most challenging long-distance trail on the Continent. The E5 runs from the Atlantic Sea to Verona in Italy. You'll reach its highest elevation on crossing the Alps at Pitztaler Joch Col, 2,995 metres above sea level. Walking along the E10, linking the north of Finland to the South of Spain, you can experience the pristine wilderness of East Tirol.
