Adlerhorst & SunOrama

Imst

Ride the chair lift from Hoch-Imst up to an elevation of 2,000 meters above sea level. Only steps from the Alpjoch Top Terminal in Hoch-Imst you will find the spectacular “Adlerhorst” (Eyrie) Viewing Platform that offers a perspective usually reserved for expert mountaineers. Hovering high above the ground, the platform commands uninterrupted, if vertiginous, views of Muttekopf Nature Reserve and of perpendicular rock faces. Supported by an 8-meter high beam, the platform is accessed by a 13-meter long footbridge. You can as well soak up the incredible mountain scenery from the SunOrama Observation Deck, lying next to the top terminal. Grab a wooden deckchair and take in the stunning views of the surrounding ranges and valleys that capture the sheer greatness of the mountains themselves. The “Adlerhorst” Viewing Platform is accessible during the warm summer months; the panoramic outdoor patio is open year-round.
