The Kaunergrat Nature Park Visitor’s Center is not only the gateway to Kaunergrat Nature Park but also marks the intersection between three valleys: Kaunertal, Pitztal and Inntal. The best way to get an overview of this stunning region is by paying a visit to the amazing “Gacher Blick” viewing platform on the other side of the road. This spectacular structure at 1,560 metres above sea level provides a superb viewpoint that drops steeply over the rocks and the valleys of this westernmost area of Tirol known as "Oberes Gericht". The nature park house itself has an exhibition entitled "3000m vertical" that enables visitors to take a virtual guided tour through the vast nature park, from the lush pastures down in the valley all the way up to the glaciers at over 3,000m. Along the way, participants are informed about the region's geology, biodiversity and the everyday lives of the people living here.
