Gallzeiner Rodeln

Try as you might, you won't find a Gallzeiner toboggan in any high street shop or out-of-town megastore. Instead, those who have set their hearts on one of these works of art have no other choice than to come to Tirol and visit one of the few shops in the region which have the pleasure of selling them. Or, why not simply go straight to the source and visit the Gallzeiner Rodeln factory in the village of Buch near Jenbach?

Founder Josef Brunner named his company "Gallzeiner" after the village of Gallzein, where the factory was originally located before moving many years ago to the village of Buch near Jenbach. Today, Gallzeiner Rodeln is run by Josef Brunner's daughter, Helga, and her husband Bernhard Lederwasch. Indeed, the third generation – teenage son Philipp – is already busy learning the ropes in preparation for taking over the family business when his time comes.

Something for everyone

Such is the range of toboggans on offer that wintersports enthusiasts of all abilities are sure to find what they are looking for. Those who enjoy tobogganing but are not planning on breaking any world records in the near future can try the classic single-seater toboggan. Older tobogganers who are not as spritely or flexible as they once used to be can whizz downhill on one of the specially designed comfort models with a raised seating position. Last but not least, those with the need for speed can choose one of the lightning fast race toboggans. And to avoid any mix-ups, why not order a personalised toboggan with your name stitched into the seat?
