Idyllically tucked away in a mountain hollow: Laponesalm in the upper Gschnitztal Valley. The view from the extensive sun terrace allows visitors to combine the surrounding mountain scenery with an array of culinary delights. Alpine pastures and pretty log cabins are scattered throughout the 320 hectares of alpine grazing area that surrounds Laponesalm, which is a popular day trip destination for families. The walk up is easy to negotiate and the road is suitable for pushchairs.
