Gampen Toboggan Run

This twisty 4.3km toboggan run connects Gampen (1,850m altitude) to Nasserein and drops around 500 vertical metres from start to finish. Be careful when ascending and descending – there is no separate path to walk up. Another option is to take the Nassereinbahn lift up to the top. The run is open twice weekly for night tobogganing (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19.30 until 21.30) and has walls of snow on each side for safety. The Rodelalm hut and Gampen Restaurant serve good local food; toboggans can be hired from a number of sports shops in the valley.
