The German talk show host and entertainer Stefan Raab was the first one to do it and now everybody has the chance to give wok racing a try!

Zoom down the ice chute!
What started out as a crazy idea soon gathered a cult following and became a popular – and highly fun – activity on Igls’ bobsled track.
Racers slide down the 1.2 kilometer long bobsled track in four-person-woksleds, which uses four woks per sled. The highest speed reached in a race wok was an incredible 90 km/h!
Wok racing makes for an exhilarating and thrilling race experience and is an ideal activity for corporate outings, birthday parties and incentive events.

Experience the thrill of speed!
The Igls bobsled track hosts wok racing events for individuals and small groups (see Events).
Each wok race consists of two rides: a training run and the actual race. Tickets costs Euro 80pp. Money well spent if you wish to show your friends how much fun a cooking pot can be!
Larger groups of 20 or more people can contact Knauseder Event Concept for their private, customized wok event.
