Enjoy running on superbly maintained and signposted trails!
Running ...
The Lechtal Nature Park boasts 148 kilometers of impeccably maintained trails that have been exactly measured by GPS. At the start of each route you will find an information panel with route profile, difficulty rating, elevation gain and kilometers, and at each junction there is a small plate with the current kilometer count. Most of the routes are located in the valley, a few lead into the mountains. Regular Nordic walking classes are held in the region, and Lechtal’s hotels offer special packages for hikers and Nordic walkers (for more information contact the Lechtal tourist office).
... and relaxing
It would be real shame to just run past the Lechtal’s many natural sights! The nature park’s outstanding natural beauty invites you to take it slow, pause and soak up the scenery. Highlights include the “Trail of Senses” in the romantic Hölltal gorge, Fallerschein; the region’s largest Alpine village with 40 log cabins amid fields, a dairy, and two snack stations; and the famous wood carving school in Elbigenalp. The Lechtal Activ Card gives discounted access to most of the region’s sport and leisure facilities as well as museums and public transportations.
