St. Anton boasts 200 kilometers of superbly maintained and signposted trails for runners, Nordic walkers and mountain bikers. The region’s scenic beauty and mildly brazing climate making running and Nordic walking here a truly enjoyable and healthy experience. Taster lessons, classes for beginners and guided tours are offered on a regular basis. More experienced runners might wish to sign up for Arlberg’s Jakobilauf, a half-marathon.

Although Arlberg is known as the cradle of Alpine skiing, the region offers plenty more activities for all ages and interests. Popular summer activities including rafting, rock climbing, golfing, and hiking. For your relaxation there is the Arlberg-Stanzertal Wellness Park in Pettneu. The Rosanna River and Lake Verwallsee boast an abundance of rainbow and brook trout, and char can be found in the Ferwall region near Konstanzer Hütte. The Arlberg region also offers a whole host of events, including the annual mountain film festival at the end of August.
