It is an ideal starting point for those seeking recreation and those who like to experience their leisure time in the great outdoors. Hikers and mountaineers will find beautiful tours to the surrounding alpine pastures and peaks. With the available beds and camps, the Voldertalhütte is also a good base for group and company excursions. Long-distance hikers now appreciate the Voldertalhütte as a popular base on the long-distance hiking trail Munich-Venice.
