Exhibition of local costumes
The new exhibition of the Handwerkskunst und Trachtenkultur association showcases the diversity and intricacy of traditional costumes in the Isel Valley. Historical garments, photographs, and original accessories have been collected and prepared under the guidance of Marianna Oberdorfer, chairwoman of the association, from Matrei to Lienz. It becomes evident how materials, cuts, and colors differ depending on the location while still forming a shared cultural heritage. The exhibition offers insights into a vibrant piece of East Tyrolean identity and invites visitors to rediscover the costume landscape along the Isel.

Guided tours on Mondays starting at 6.00 p.m. and by appointment.
