Out of the Box - Trade & Listen
On May 21, 2026, the Vitus & Urban in Kufstein will become a meeting point for sustainable consumption and creative exchange: old turns into new, and things become stories. “Out of the Box” is an event organized by students of FH Kufstein that brings people together. Visitors bring well-preserved items, exchange them for coins, and thereby discover new favorite pieces at the swap market. The focus is on value-free exchange – each item corresponds exactly to one coin, regardless of brand or value. The exchange area is divided into the categories Clothing, Home / Living, Lifestyle / Kids, and Creative. Starting at 4:00 p.m., the swap market kicks off and invites browsing before the fashion show featuring selected second-hand outfits becomes the highlight of the evening at 6:00 p.m. Accompanied by music and a relaxed atmosphere, a special event experience is created. This makes sustainable consumption tangible in a unique way – as a shared experience that connects and inspires.
