Description

Description:
It does not always have to be skiing, snowboarding, or cross-country skiing. On almost 81 kilometers of cleared trails, hikers wander through the snowy fairy-tale landscape. Cozy huts invite you to stop along the way. Sitting by the fireplace, warming up with a Jaga tea, or strengthening yourself with a snack for the next kilometers – this is how you can fully enjoy snow walks.
Along the approximately 81 kilometers of cleared hiking paths, there is so much to discover and see, so much fresh air to breathe, that every step becomes a pleasure
- and the inns and cafés along the routes offer ample opportunities to refresh and warm up. For something truly special, join a guided snowshoe hike. For those aiming high, the Tannheimer Tal offers two possibilities to summit a peak even in winter: Neunerköpfle in Tannheim with the largest summit logbook in the Alps or the Gamskopf with the panorama information point in Grän.Directions:

From the village square in Haldensee, head east along the sidewalk. On the west shore of Haldensee, the path transitions into the lakeside promenade, which runs parallel to the federal road. Along the shore of Haldensee towards Haller.

Tip:

Several places to stop for refreshments in Haldensee or in Haller

Safety guidelines:

It should be noted that there is an increased risk of accidents and injuries even when winter walking. Especially in winter, particular attention must be paid to the condition of the paths. Suitable clothing, good footwear, and possibly walking poles provide additional safety. Stay on the marked paths.

Equipment:

Modern and well-maintained equipment (shoes, poles, and clothing) not only provides a considerable level of safety but also makes winter walking much easier. Sunscreen (high protection factor and possibly sunglasses) as well as enough liquids should not be forgotten.
