Description

Description:

Explore the meadow path between Grän and Innergschwend, where snowy fields and forests offer an idyllic winter landscape. The well-marked trail ensures a safe experience in the fresh air.

Directions:

The hike begins at the parking lot near the town hall and initially leads northwards towards St. Wendelin Church. After the church, the route continues along the village street to the federal road. On the sidewalk along the snowy road, it goes to the company Zitt Earthworks/Transport. Behind the company building, the path leads left into the meadow path. Following the signs, the route curves gently to the small bridge. After crossing it, you go through the quiet winter landscape back to Grän to the starting point.

Tip:

Don't forget to take your camera to capture the snowy landscapes. The meadow path offers an experience for both experienced winter hikers and beginners.

Safety guidelines:

It should be noted that there is an increased risk of accidents and injuries when winter hiking. Especially in winter, special attention must be paid to the condition of the paths. Suitable clothing, good footwear, and possibly hiking poles provide additional safety. Stay on the marked paths.

Equipment:

A modern and well-maintained equipment (shoes, poles, and clothing) not only provides a significant amount of safety but also makes winter hiking much easier. Sun protection (high SPF and possibly sunglasses) as well as enough fluids should not be forgotten.
