Description

Follow the Ötztaler Ache on a wide, gently ascending walking path downstream to the junction towards Habichen. On the newly created winter hiking trail, go uphill through the forest. At the next crossing, turn right onto a meadow path and then right again onto the paved path to Habicher Lake. From Habicher Lake, return to the main path.

Once there, turn left and follow the edge path on the wide trail through the forest uphill to Kohlstatt, then keep right and hike the wide forest road back to Oetz.
