The mountaineering village Gschnitz is situated at an altidude of 1.242 m in the middle of the Stubai Alps. It is sourrounded by unspoiled nature and beautiful landscapes which invite all guest to walks, hikes or event summit tours.

Summer
Our motto is: loads of nature! The village of Gschnitz is sourrounded by majestic mountains within a nature protection area. You'll find meadows full of flowers, woods and cristal clear creeks. Perfect for easy walks along the valley floor or a hut tour or a summit tour for the sporty. Nearby you'll also find the "milling village" of Gschnitz, where you can experience the local way of life a hundred years ago.

Winter
In the cold season there is a lot of snow and a beautiful winter landscape for activities like cross-country skiing (different trials of traditional and skating style), snowshoe hiking or winter walks. The skiing area Bergeralm in Steinach is only a few kilometers from our house and there is also a ski bus, which you can use for free with your guest card.
