Berggasthaus Höllensteinhütte ***

The perfect holiday for dropouts and nature lovers!
The Höllensteinhütte is located at the Loschboden, the paradisiacal plateau above the Tuxertal at 1,740 m above sea level and is surrounded by the Tettensjoch (2,276 m) and our local mountain - the Höllenstein (2,874 m). From Juns you can reach us after about 3 km, walking time about 1 hour, access by taxi possible.
Free of any kind of stress and noise, we offer our guests in cozy, isolated rooms (for example in our farmhouse parlor with tiled stove) and in cuddly niches, time to relax or a hearty evening tobogganing.
In winter, our inn is the ideal starting point for numerous ski tours and snowshoe hikes. (Equipment rental at Bernhard Sport Mode in Lanersbach).
For house guests we offer in cooperation with Berhard Sport Mode in Lanersbach a ski depot and 10% on rental skis.
In summer you wake the gentle sounds of the cow bells of more than 140 cows that are on our pasture from the beginning of June to the end of September on summer resort. After a hearty breakfast on the sun terrace, you will be tempted by the many beautiful hiking trails, as well as the easy and demanding summits that you want to climb right from the hut.
There is also the possibility (on request) of watching the game in the nature in our private hunt.
We are happy to arrange your company & birthday parties, weddings and large events of all kinds for you - the Höllensteinhütte can accommodate up to 120 people.
