Scenic "Marbergerhaus" is located in the historic center of Umhausen. Formerly part of Gasthof Krone, the "farm building" with its solid wooden furniture and paneling reminds of the lively past. Nevertheless it offers all modern, contemporary comforts.
In a central yet quiet location. In the immediate vicinity you will find the church, shops and inns. The bus stop to the nearby ski & hiking areas in the upper Ötztal (Sölden, Obergurgl and Hochoetz) is only about 250 meters away. The sun-kissed plateau of Niederthai (7 km) has a perfect beginners' ski area with certified ski school and superb cross-country skiing tracks. Summer highlights: scenic walks and easy hikes, famous "Stuiben Falls" - Tirol's biggest waterfall, Ötzi Village, Birds of Prey Park, Umhausen swimming lake, and a lot more.
