Kaltenbach (558m high) is situated in the center of the Zillertal and is the ideal starting point for excurions, for example waterfall in Kaltenbach, Zillertaler Höhenstrasse (alpine road), Glacier in Hintertux (about 34km away) or the waterfalls in Krimml... Winter: ski- and shoe storage room, about 100m away from the station of the skiarea "Hochfügen Hochzillertal", ski run to the valley, apres ski locations in the immediate vicinity. Holiday villa with two separate apartements on a garden estate in the villagecenter.
