Florian: “Aaliyah was three years old when we took her skiing for the first time. It took a bit of time for her to find her feet, so in the end we decided to book her into a ski course. She absolutely loved it and since then we have spent a lot of time skiing together, often three or four times a week. Now she is even a member of the local ski club and goes to training every Friday.”

Aaliyah: “I like skiing – but only when the weather is good. Sometimes I spend the whole day out on the slopes with my Dad. When we stop off for a break I always have the same thing to eat: spaghetti bolognese. And I always drink a hot chocolate. For me that is part of going skiing.”

Amelie: “Almost all the children in our kindergarten go skiing. We recently had a ski week and Aaliyah and I were the fastest skiers in the group. I like it best when I can tuck in my arms and ski really fast and straight.”

Aaliyah Fasser & Amelie Ogris, Young skiers

Aaliyah Fasser from Bichlbach loves nothing more than skiing with her father, Florian Fasser. The six year-old often takes along her friend, Amelie Ogris, who goes to the same kindergarten. One of their favourite spots is the children’s funpark in the family-friendly ski resort of Ehrwalder Alm.
