XC Skiing in the Kitzbühel Alps – Hohe Salve Region

Hohe Salve is part of the larger Kitzbühel Alps region, with 700 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails one of the largest cross-country skiing areas in Tirol. Visitors to Hohe Salve can look forward to 60 kilometres of perfectly groomed trails as well as 30 additional kilometres in nearby Angerberg-Mariastein. Access to all the cross-country skiing trails in the Hohe Salve region is free of charge.

A combination of top grooming, excellent signposting and environmentally friendly measures have led to Angerberg being awarded the "Tiroler Loipengütesiegel", a seal of approval bestowed by the regional government on outstanding cross-country skiing areas. Beginners can take part in the weekly introductory course held every Tuesday at 18:30 by instructors from the Langlaufclub Angerberg (please register in advance with the local toutism board by sending an e-mail to info@hohe-salve.com or calling +43.57507.7000).
