Scenic Marienberg Mountain is an awesome spot for summer family adventure! There’s so much to do, and so much fun doing all of it: Everybody likes a little thrill every now and then, and the Alpine Slide at Biberwier is ready to oblige. Getting there is half the fun with a leisurely chair lift ride to the mid-station of Marienberg Mountain. Then hop on your sled and cruise down exhilarating 1.3 kilometers of twisting, turning track back to the base. The luge-like cement track is filled with 40 curves and turns, long straightways and a tunnel. Little ones will go wild in the on-mountain playground. A wonderful variety of fun sports equipment, such as monster scooters and mountain carts, round out the roster at Marienberg Mountain. The 4-kilometer walk from Marienberg Mountain down to the valley has a vertical drop of 700 meters.
