The Freischwimmbad Matrei is an outdoor swimming area in East Tirol surrounded by a forest and yet featuring many sunny spots on the spacious sunbathing lawn. At its heart lies a large swimming pool with a small bridge.
Outdoor swimming in the Freischwimmbad Matrei in East Tirol is a pleasant experience thanks to a solar heating system which warms the water to between 22 and 25°C. This swimming area comprises a 25m swimming pool and a pool for non-swimmers, including a slide and two small children’s pools. Delicious snacks can be purchased in the buffet area with its own garden. Sport enthusiasts can play football and table tennis. In the evening, the floodlit beach volleyball court is a popular meeting point.
