Freelance graphic designer Katrin Stiller recently fulfilled her lifelong dream by opening this chic boutique in the centre of Hall in Tirol.
"Büro im Laden" literally means "Office in the Shop". So, naturally, the question poses itself as to whether it is indeed an office in a shop – or is it, in fact, a shop in an office? Whatever the answer, Katrin Stiller's brainchild is a delightfully playful celebration of all those small things which make life beautiful.

In 2014, after years of working freelance as a graphic designer, Stiller realised her lifelong dream by opening her own interior design boutique in a 700-year-old building in the medieval old town in Hall in Tirol. The shop is ideal for all those who are in search of a special treat (for a family member, a friend, a loved one or simply for themselves) but don't quite know what to buy. But be warned. With so many trinkets and accessories to choose from, the chances are pretty high that you will find yourself leaving with more than just the present you came in to buy.
As well as a selection of high-quality decorations for all seasons and occasions, Katrin Stiller also stocks a carefully chosen range of sauces, organic herbs and herb mixtures sporting exotic names like "Buddhas Bauch" ("Buddha's Belly") and "Wilde Hilde" ("Crazy Hilde") – after all, cooking and eating is these days a key part of modern lifestyle and interior design.
