The fine foodstuffs produced by Plangger Delikatessen can be purchased in several locations throughout the Tiroler Oberland – in Pfunds, where the grandfather of the current owner opened his first grocery shop in 1915, Ischgl, Sölden, St. Anton am Arlberg and Serfaus – as well as in Innsbruck and Seefeld.
We are fortunate enough to live in a time and place where most of us do not have to worry too much about satisfying the most basic of needs: hunger and thirst. Instead of having to eat whatever we can get our hands on, we can choose what we consume based on its origin and quality. And this is where Plangger Delikatessen comes into its own.
Fine food for over a century
Voted "Best Fine Food Emporium in Tirol" on several occasions by the food magazine Genuss Guide, Plangger Delikatessen not only offers its customers a wide range of top-quality food but also prides itself on its friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team. Hay milk cheese from Tirol, Highland beef salami, Graubünden cheese fondue with champagne truffels, dried ham from South Tirol, fine wines from the east of Austria, 150-year-old balsamico vinegar from Italy, or smoked wild salmon from Alaska – the owners Rudolf Plangger, Michael Jank and Simon Fümm have set about finding the finest foodstuffs the world has to offer and bringing them here to Tirol. For Plangger Delikatessen, only the very best is good enough.
