These two small shops in Serfaus run by the Patscheider family are a treasure trove of delicious delicacies such as schnapps, liqueurs and marmalades (s’Ladele) as well as attractive clothing and interior design accessories (Bsundrix).
Let's get one thing straight from the start: "Bsundrix" is not a distant Tirolean relation of Asterix and Obelix! It is, instead, a dialect version of the German expression "etwas Besonderes", which translates into English as "something special". And that is just about the best description of what visitors to Serfaus can expect in this small boutique packed with ... well, special things!
More precisely, Bsundrix sells clothing and interior design accessories and is therefore the ideal place to pick up a souvenir to remind you of your stay in Tirol.
Among the Patscheider family's portfolio of shops (including sports shops and fashion boutiques) is also "s’Ladele", a dialectal diminutive version of "der Laden", which translates quite simply as "the shop". Here, the main focus is on food and drink – from fine schnapps to fruit syrups, marmalades, hand-made chocolate, dried bacon and everything else you could possibly need for a traditional Tirolean snack.
