A favourite tradition among locals and visitors alike, the 66th New Year’s Day Fireworks is held January 01, 2020, rounded out by a breathtaking ski show.

As every year, Kitzbühel rings in the New Year with spectacular fireworks displays on the first day of the year—a beloved tradition since 1955! And who can resist fireworks and torchlights – especially when created by Armin Lukasser, pyrotechnics champion of the world? Kitzbühel’s best skiers and riders, including the ski schools’ finest, hit a big air jump through a blazing ring of fire, followed by fireworks! Spend your evening with family, friends, and amazing free live entertainment! Starting at 5:30pm, the New Year’s Day Fireworks is a favourite tradition among locals and visitors alike, annually attracting thousands of visitors to Rasmusleiten. In 2019, more than 30,000 people watched the spectacle.
