In mid-September, the iconic BYND The Mountain Festival will descend on the Bike Republic in Sölden for the first time, complete with two-wheeled lunacy and cool side events.
The three-day BYND The Mountain in Sölden Festival is kicked-off with a spectacular Whip-Off-Contest on Friday at 4:00pm. Be there up close and personal when the slopestyle and freeride world elite push themselves to new heights on the event area at the base of Giggijoch Gondola. BYND goes beyond sporting borders, the ultimate action-sports event. Watch the best bike riders in the world riding down the gnarliest terrain, while they throw some of the biggest tricks that freeride has ever seen and meet and mingle with top riders like Sam Pilgrim, Casey Brown, Erik Fedko and Patricia Druwen.
The ultimate festival highlight is the Swatch Nines Public Day on Saturday in Grünwald. The gates to the Competition Area will open at 1:00pm. The festival is rounded out with great beats by Kristian Davidek and Camo & Krooked on the main stage.
On all three days, the Brand Area at the base of the gondola offers an expo area, live music and food, along with contests and sessions.
