This September, the “Reich für die Insel” Cube in front of the Tirol Provincial Theater hosts an amazing performance installation revolving around the theme of witches: “Maleficarum X”.
The cube is an off space in the heart of Innsbruck dedicated to contemporary art forms. From September 15 to 25, 2022, “Reich für die Insel” will play host to the interdisciplinary performance installation named “Maleficarum X”: From medieval witch-hunting and the Malleus maleficarum, which was created in Innsbruck around 1486 to today’s witches — those who identify more with feminism than burnings at the stake.
