Hermann Nitsch. Partitur des 6-Tage-Spiels

Innsbruck, every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 16.04.2022 - 10.09.2022

Until mid-September, the Innsbruck Thoman Gallery shows an inspiring and diverse range of artwork by Austrian performance artist Hermann Nitsch.

Innsbruck’s Thoman Gallery is proud to announce an exhibition of works by artist Hermann Nitsch, a founder of the Viennese Actionists, running until September 10, 2022. The notorious Austrian performance artist is best known for his elaborate and grisly “actions” — collectively known as the Orgies Mysteries Theater. They often involved slaughtered and disemboweled animals, blood, feces and viscera and evoked Christian and pagan rituals.
