In September, Silver Region Karwendel invites enthusiastic hikers to the 3rd International Hiking Week. Guided walks revolve around special themes such as silver mining, tradition, deer, star observation and music.
The 3rd International Hiking Week provides access to some of the great hikes in the Silver Region Karwendel. The event is kicked-off on September 16, 2023 with a music night in Stans. On the following six days, it’s all about exploring the glorious surroundings in hiking boots. Each day is dedicated to a special theme, such as “Hiking and Tradition”, “Hiking and Music”, „Forest, Deer and Eng”. Each theme has a guided walk, including one along the Tirol Silver Path with visit to the silver mine, one hunter-guided walk with deer observation, one hike to Tratzberg Castle, one to the telescope for star observation and one to the grand cattle drive in Schwaz. Of course, foodies can rejoice as local signature dishes will be provided.
