Cheese lovers can sample and purchase distinctive artisan cheeses from local and international fromagiers at the 16th International Käsiade Cheese Festival and meet the artisans who make them. The festival features a wide variety of artisan cheeses from Tirol and beyond, together with artisan food and wine. The best cheeses from near and far will be awarded prizes by an expert judges’ panel. Organized by the Association of Cheesemakers and Dairymen, this highly acclaimed food festival takes place in Hopfgarten every two years. The winners will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.
Cheese will be for sale at the event’s cheese market on Friday, along with specialty food and wine tastings.
