An annual weekend-long snow ski festival, the 2019 Kaiser-Maximilian-Lauf includes 60k and 30k classic and freestyle cross country ski races through the hilly and beautiful upland plateau of Seefeld Region.
In its fourth year, the Kaiser-Maximilian-Lauf is a unique cross-country ski marathon race weekend in the Seefeld Region. There are four race events: The 60k and the 30k classic races will take place on Saturday, January 12, 2019. The 30k event starts in Leutasch and has its finish at the Lakeside Chapel Arena in Seefeld.
The 60k and the 30k freestyle races will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019. In each event, abilities range from top national ski racers to recreational skiers challenging themselves with just making the distance. Both races start and finish at the lovely Lakeside Chapel Arena in Seefeld and traverse the stunning winter scenery of Mösern, Wildmoos, Buchen and Leutasch.
The 60k classic race is part of the "Visma Ski Classics", a series of 13 long distance cross country ski race events.
