The 2019 “Music in the Giant” festival brings internationally noted soloists and top-class ensembles to Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens.

One of the highlights of the 16th “Music in the Giant” festival is the performance of two young international stars: Chinese pianist Yuja Wang and conductor Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla will be coming to Innsbruck Congress with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. They will play works by György Ligeti, Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms.

An extraordinarily diverse and full program distinguishes the 2019 Music in the Giant Festival, with six concerts performormed on five days at four venues. The series of concerts will feature the prestigious “Pavel Haas Quartet”, pianists Aaron Pilsan and Paul Lewis, the Tirol band “Knoedel”, Choropax Chamber Choir Wattens and Marini Consort Innsbruck. Venues are the Swarovski Crystal Worlds, Schleifhalle and Marienkirche Church in Wattens, as well as the Congress in Innsbruck.
