2nd Innsbruck Harp Biennal: Celtic String Games

Innsbruck, 09.11.2023 - 12.11.2023

The historic harp is in the center of this four-day festival that takes place this November at the Innsbruck House of Music, offering concerts, lectures, and round tables for the second time.

Tirol native and internationally renowned harpenist Margret Köll is the founder of this new Innsbruck Harp Biennal, which aims to transmit the historic harp’s “eternal muse” to future generations. Keeping traditions alive, the harp and its music can raise spirits and enrich lives.

The second edition of this festival revolves around the theme of “Celtic String Games” and boasts various concerts, from authentic folk music to classical music from Wales, England, Scotland and Ireland, will be given from November 9 to 12, 2023.
