The official kick-off to Nordic ski season in St. Ulrich: Free skiing, rental equipment and lessons for all ages make this a perfect event for enthusiastic XC skiers around the shores of Pillersee Lake.
Scenic Pillerseetal Valley offers a stunning 100-kilometer network of immaculately groomed cross country ski tracks. What’s best, skiing the tracks is free during the “Nordic Spirit” Winter Opener! Skiers of all abilities and ages are invited to kick off winter with free skiing, free ski rental equipment from leading Nordic ski suppliers and free mini lessons for novice and advanced skiers. A DJ will be spinning the turntables to liven things up a bit. The event is held from 11:00am to 2:00pm on December 17, 2022. Drop point is the car park at the base of Pillersee Gondola.
