Top athletes will come together in Sölden, Ötztal Valley, on April 25, 2015 for the unique, multi-sport Peak to Creek relay race.
Peak to Creek is a unique, multi-sport relay race covering 85 kilometers of beautiful terrain in the Heart of Tirol. From snow to whitewater, from 2,670 meters to the valley, top racers ski uphill and downhill, mountain bike, run, climb, pedal, and paddle their way up and down ski runs, on paths, streams and river, along bike paths, and over some gnarly single track.
With the stunning Ötztal Alps as backdrop, Peak to Creek features eight legs of ski mountaineering, downhill skiing, mountain biking, mountain running, climbing, cycling and kayaking. Finally, all athletes together have to master the white waters of Ötztaler Ache River in a rafting boat.
The race starts 08:30am at Rettenbach Glacier Stadium.
