Fun and enjoyment are the name of the game at the Single Trail Scavenger Hunt for Enduro riders in Sölden—whoever completes all the tasks first, wins the ‘giant golden schnitzel’.
Racing and competition is not the main objective of this fun-filled event—enjoyment is the name of the game at the Single Trail Scavenger Hunt in Sölden, which is now in its 13th year. In teams of two or three, the participants set off on a hunt for the ‘giant golden schnitzel’. During the course of the day, the participants have to fulfil various amusing tasks along single trails that run up and down the mountain. The competitors plot their own route with the aim of returning to the base of Gaislochkogl Gondola after all the tasks have been completed. Whoever completes all the tasks first and has a stamp in their ‘schnitzel pass’ to verify this, wins the ‘giant golden schnitzel’ at the Schnitzel Party that night. Rescheduled for August 14, 2021, this year’s event will not take place during the Sölden Bike Opening.
