Hall in Tirol, 06.09.2019 - 08.09.2019

Strongly connected to the town of Hall and its people, Sprachsalz — The International Literature Festival in Hall in Tirol, features local, national and international authors, writers and audiences each year in September.

At the centre of local, national and international debate, the Festival features some of the most intelligent, creative, and cutting edge thinkers of today. The Festival is strongly connected to the town of Hall and its people and takes place over three days, from September 06 to 08, 2019. In its 17th year, the Festival presents autors and writers like Elke Heidenreich, Vladimir Sorokin and Philipp Weiss.

For their dedication and their outstanding contributions, the festival organizers have received the US-American Acker Award. The Acker Awards is a tribute given to members of the avant-garde arts community who have made outstanding contributions in their discipline in “defiance of convention”, or else served their fellow writers and artists in outstanding ways. There are creative writing practice clinics for adults and young persons.
