Imsterberger Venetalm

This challenging ride up to the Imsterberger Venetalm (Nr. 604) requires plenty of fitness and determination, but is well worth the effort. The 2.5 hour ascent is possible between May and October (depending on snow cover) and rewards riders with stunning panoramic views from Imsterberger Venetalm (1,995m) and the nearby hut serving food.

  • The village Imsterberg lies on the Way of St. James in Tirol; in the centre of the village there is the late baroque church of Mariae Sieben Schmerzen.
  • The many chapels near Imsterberg show the local population’s close connection to religion.
  • From the Imsterberger Venetalm riders can enjoy fantastic views of three valleys: the Pitztal Valley, Inntal Valley and Gurgltal Valley.
